COUNTRIES WHERE PAUL MCCARTNEY HAS HAD THE MOST LIVE PERFORMANCES
Paul McCartney, not surprisingly, has toured the UK more than all of the other countries combined. However, most of his live performances in the UK came early in his career, before 1964, with more than half in Liverpool. Same thing with Germany as most of his performances there were in Hamburg between 1960 and 1962. Post-Beatle, Paul has done 222 live concerts in the United States, almost twice as many as number two UK (125). This list covers all documented concerts, including those with the Quarrymen, Nerk Twins, Silver Beetles, Beatles, Wings and, of course, as Paul McCartney (including multiple-artist concerts, such as Live Aid or Coachella). This list goes through the end of his 2010 tour (which, as of press time, includes a few planned tours that have not yet been performed) and does not include classical concerts where he was the composer (versus performer).
