STATES WITH THE MOST STARBUCKS PER CAPITA
Despite being a major multinational coffee store, there are still more Starbucks per capita in its home state than any other state in the United States. The West has the most Starbucks, while New England (with the competition) and the Southeast (with its lower coffee consumption) has the fewest.
If the District of Columbia were a state, it would rank #1 with 128.9 Starbucks per million people (there are actually 75 there).
The bottom five: Vermont (6.4), Mississippi (9.6), West Virginia (9.9), Arkansas (12.1), New Hampshire (13.7).
