Bonus List

Neighboring nations sometimes export their electricity resources, especially if one country has an abundance of electricity production, such as from hydroelectric. As one would expect, island nations have difficult doing this since transporting electricity in wires under water is inefficient. Island nations only make up 3 of the top 10; some land nations, including developing nations and nations with a hostile neighbor (like South Korea) are in this list.

1. Indonesia
2. Pakistan
3. Bangladesh
4. Japan
5. Philippines
6. Vietnam
7. Ethiopia
8. South Korea
9. Burma
10. Tanzania

Figures for the Dem. Rep. of Congo (which would be #8 if it exported no electricity to neighbors) were unavailable.
