Bonus List

STATES WITH THE HIGHEST (AND LOWEST) RATIO OF BICYCLE COMMUTERS TO ALL COMMUTERS

The West is where commuters are most likely to ride a bicycle to work. However, even there, only about 1 out of every 100 commute by bicycle. Some Southeastern states don't even have 1 bicycle commuter out of every 1000 total commuters! The Southeast has so few bicycle commuters that all states in that region except Florida have fewer bicycle commuters as a percentage of all commuters than cold Alaska! The nationwide ratio is 1 bicycle commuter out of every 263 commuters.
