STATES THAT DON'T REQUIRE FRONT LICENSE PLATES ON CARS
31 of the 50 U.S. states require both front and rear license plates
on cars. The other 19 states only require a license plate on the
rear. There is a strong southern bias as all states from Arkansas
to North Carolina (and points south) have only rear license plates,
yet all New England and Pacific Coast states require both front and
rear license plates.
