COUNTRIES WHERE THEIR CITIZENS CAN VISIT THE MOST OTHER
COUNTRIES WITHOUT A VISA
Most travelers from North America and Western Europe can visit a large
number of countries without obtaining a visa. In fact, citizens from 23
different countries can visit at least 100 countries using only their
passport. Except for Greece and Malaysia (ranked #23), all countries
where the citizens can visit at least 100 other countries can visit
the US without a visa (usually through the visa-waiver program).
There is a 4-way tie for #1: Denmark, Germany, the UK and the US.
However, that does not mean that the citizens of these countries can
visit all of the same countries without a visa. For example, Danes
can visit Niger without a visa, but Germans, Brits and Americans
can't. Despite the present dangers, Americans can visit Cote D'Ivoire
without a visa (while Danes, Germans and Brits need a visa). But,
Americans must have a visa for Brazil, which is a visa-free privilege
not only from Denmark, Germany and the UK but also for all the other
countries on this list except Canada, Japan and Singapore.
