LARGEST COUNTRIES WITHOUT A 10,000-FOOT MOUNTAIN
While Australia and most Saharan nations rank high, it is Brazil that
ranks highest. Pico da Neblina, Brazil's highest mountain falls just
112 feet short of 10,000 feet above sea level. Some of the countries
in this list have substantial mountains, like Australia's Great
Dividing Range or Egypt's Mt. Sinai, but others like Mauritania or
Mali have little more than large hills.
