STATES WITH THE HIGHEST PERCENTAGE OF COUNTRY-MUSIC RADIO STATIONS

Country stations are most numerous in the Plains states, though parts of the South (especially in areas adjacent to the Midwest) had a large number of country stations. Surprisingly, Tennessee came in at only No. 13 among the 50 states). This radio format was least common in the Northeast, California and Hawaii.
